Cassandra started working with the Gage County Museum in August of 2021. She has worked with history teaching it at the public level and private level for over 20 years. She has three degrees, an associates in art degree, a bachelor's in education, and a bachelor's in history. She also has 24 years of experience beginning as President of Key Club in Highschool in event planning and fundraising for local charities and nonprofits. At the museum her responsibilities include overseeing the day to day functions of the museum which includes staffing and finances. Jolie Scott is a recent graduate of Peru State College. She has a Bachelors of Science in History and a minor in Political Science. She is the first person to receive the Public History Certification from Peru State. After several years working for different museums Jolie developed a passion for archival work and has brought her talents to the Gage County Historical Society and Museum.
Alex Cook graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelors of the Arts in Psychology and a minor in English and Criminal Justice. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law. He also spent a semester in England studying law at Downing College at the University of Cambridge. He is a history enthusiast with a desire to help preserve local history and share it with others.
